Patrick began his career in the financial services industry in 2019, quickly learning that he derives personal satisfaction from helping clients transform hazy, complex, or abstract financial situation into something that feels concrete, tangible, and actionable. He joined the Emerald Financial Group team in 2025.

As a Financial Planner, he helps clients get organized, understand their financial picture, and feel more confident about their future. He brings a thoughtful and thorough approach to every conversation, aiming to simplify the complex and make financial planning approachable.

Originally from Erie, PA, Patrick moved to Charlotte, NC, after college for the warmer weather and the opportunity to grow in his career. He earned a bachelor’s in business administration from PennWest Edinboro, where he concentrated in personal financial planning and minored in economics.

He enhanced his ability to serve individuals by investing in the education and training required to become a Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Financial Consultant®.

Outside of work, Patrick is usually outdoors – boating, snowboarding, or flying through the sky on his paramotor. He also enjoys spending time with his two energetic dogs and staying as a member of the Financial Planning Association’s NexGen community.

The CFP® designation identifies individuals who have completed the mandatory examination, education, experience, and ethics requirements mandated by the CFP Board. Candidates must have at least three years of qualifying work experience that relates to financial planning. Candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or CFP Board equivalent. CFP® candidates must pass an examination that covers over100 financial planning topics, which broadly includes: general principles of financial planning, insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. Finally, candidates have ongoing ethics requirements and oversight by the CFP Board.

The ChFC® designation identifies individuals who have completed the mandatory examination, education, experience, and ethics requirements mandated by The American College of Financial Services. Candidates must have at least three years of full-time business experience within the five years preceding the awarding of the designation of a high school diploma or equivalent. ChFC® candidates must complete eight online self-study courses and pass a closed book, proctored final course exam. Finally, candidates have ongoing continuing education requirements which require 30 hours of continuing education every two years, Including one hour of ethics.
